Sonya's Fine Island Jewelry 925 Sterling 14K Gold Ball Hurricane Lenny Path Bracelet. St. Croix hook clasp bracelet crafted from high quality sterling silver and 14k gold. Signed for authenticity. Inside diameter of 6.5". Pre-owned, this bracelet is in great condition. I have not polished it, but will leave that up to buyer. Bracelet comes with polishing cloth.
Unlike most Atlantic storms that form off the coast of Africa, Hurricane Lenny formed in the western Caribbean Sea late in the 1999 season and quickly became known as “Wrong Way Lenny”. On November 17 Lenny passed just south of St. Croix as a Category 5, and left moderate damage in his wake. Although Lenny didn’t make landfall anywhere, torrential rains and flooding affected several islands near his path. Each ball on this piece signifies the number of categories the storm was.
